Not only isn't Macy's not following the trend of retailers closing on Thanksgiving, the iconic retailer is opening its doors even earlier this year.
Macy's stores will open at 5 p.m, due to increasing consumer interest, according to a USA Today report, and will remain open through 2 a.m. on Black Friday.
"In response to significant, ongoing customer interest in shopping on Thanksgiving, both at Macy's and at many other retailers, we will be opening our full-line department stores at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day," spokeswoman Holly Thomas told USA Today.
