Specialty retailer Men's Wearhouse, which sells menswear and rental apparal, has launched a digital tool called Wedding Wingman aimed at helping grooms and groomsmen in choosing the perfect look for the big day.
The tool can streamline the wedding planning process by providing inspiration and guidance, according to a press release. It was initially piloted in the fall of 2022 and is now nationwide at all the retailer's locations.
"As part of Men's Wearhouse's digital strategy and innovation, Wedding Wingman represents a significant step towards the company's goal of providing customers with a seamless omnichannel shopping experience," John Tighe, president, Tailored Brands, said in the release. Men's Wearhouse is a subsidiary of Tailored Brands and operates more than 630 stores.
"By leveraging digital technology, Men's Wearhouse hopes to inspire customers and help them easily find a look they'll love for their big day, whether they shop in-store or online," Tighe said in the release.
During the pilot, the results saw significant customer time savings in test markets. Those who used the digital tool saved several ideas and looks at home, allowing the team to quickly pull styles for the customer once they visited in-store.
