Minnesota casino deploys 21-foot outdoor display

Cedar Lakes Casino & Hotel in Cass Lake, Minnesota partnered with LSE Architects of Minneapolis and SignArt Company to deploy a Watchfire Signs outdoor display as part of its monument sign. The 21-foot display uses video clips, animated graphics and daily promos to entice potential guests, according to a press release.

The casino placed the 16-millimeter color digital display within a stacked stone base and wood surround to reflect the modern finishes of the casino, according to the release.

"People today are very familiar with digital media, and our Watchfire sign allows us to use video and animated graphics to grab their attention and communicate with them in the way they are accustomed," Billy Krotzer, content creator and programmer, Leech Lake Gaming, said in the release. "Static images simply don't work as well."
