Nearly 100% of retailers have some sort of mobile tech deployed and view mobile tech as a way to optimize inventory, POS and personalize the customer experience, according to a press release on a survey from Jamf, an Apple management vendor.
A majority of those polled said mobile tech makes the brand more competitive and drives greater revenue by streamlining the sales process. Half reported that customer satisfaction improved "significantly" after mobile device deployment.
"While mobile technology has been broadly adopted by retailers small and large, many applications of the technology are still only single-purpose," said Josh Jagdfeld, director of alliances at Jamf, in the release.
