Morey's Piers updates digital signage

Morey's Piers, Beachfront Water Parks and Hotels, an amusement park on the Jersey Shore, recently upgraded with a digital signage network from Mvix. The park deployed more than 30 displays at its ticket booths and restaurants for ticketing pricing, menu boards and advertising, according to a press release.

Morey's Piers' employees were often spending too much time explaining the various pricing options to customers, and the restaurants had no way of easily informing guests when popular items were out of stock. To deal with these issues, the park selected the Mvix platform, which offers remote management, scheduling and custom content.

Morey's Piers uses the platform to change the ticket packages and special promotions based on the time of day, as well as provide targeted advertisements and menu board updates at the click of a button, according to the release. After deploying the displays, the park was able to speed up transactions by 50 percent as well as boost ticket and food and beverage sales.

The park also used the platform to run test advertising campaigns, such as running happy hour specials for its Bier Garden, according to the release.
