Western Michigan University, based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, selected Mvix to deploy a digital signage network at the school. The network consists of 30 displays at 15 campus facilities in Michigan and Florida, according to a press release.
Each campus facility previously had to use their own messaging tools, which led to inconsistent branding. In order to fix this issue, the university selected Mvix's digital signage solution, which offered a cloud-based content management system.
The school can use the platform to push out mass notifications and events. IT staff can also manage the content remotely or contact Mvix for support.
"The Mvix platform does everything we need it to do," Bryon Glock, assistant director of IT at Western Michigan University, said in the release. "With the automated features, it's not something we need to touch very often, and we appreciate that."
