Nayax debuts newest cashless payment option

Nayax has launched a cashless payment card reader for Bluecode payments in Austria and Germany.

The fintech's latest payment option lets users pay for products or services at unattended machines integrated with its technology, according to a press release.

Bluecode is a pan-European mobile payment solution that enables cashless payments via Android smartphones, iPhones and Apple Watch, according to the release.

Using the Nayax card reader the user can select the Bluecode option, scan a QR code with a Bluecode-enabled app and complete a transaction. The Bluecode app is available for Android and iOS and can be used on Apple Watch devices.

"We are delighted to add value to Nayax’s payment solutions in the central European region. From now on German and Austrian Bluecode users can make direct transactions from their bank account by paying at a vast number of unattended, automated machines integrated with Nayax's payment devices. We are looking forward to expand our offering with Nayax in the following months to new markets," said Claus Drennig, head of delivery, Blue Code International, in the release.
