New Christopher & Banks prototype celebrates 'women of all sizes'

July 26, 2009 by James Bickers — Editor, Networld Alliance

Minneapolis-based apparel retailer Christopher & Banks announced it will open a new prototype store in Moosic, Penn., and it will be branded with the tagline "Celebrating women of all sizes."

In a press release, the company's CEO said it "listened intently" to customer feedback when planning the new prototype, and that its focus groups were clear that "mothers, daughters, sisters and friends all wanted to shop together regardless of their individual size."

The company worked with Chute Gerdeman Retail, an Ohio-based firm, on the design of the 5,000-square-foot store.
