North Dakota launches self-serve vehicle registration renewal kiosk

Drivers in Williston, North Dakota can renew vehicle registrations and license plate tabs at a self-serve kiosk installed by the North Dakota Department of Transportation, according to KFYR-TV. Drivers need to have their renewal invoice number or the title and plate numbers of the vehicle. 

The touchscreen offers voice assistance, but only accepts credit cards or debit cards without PINs.

Drivers can still renew their registrations by mail, online or in person at a department office.
