NYC Amtrak boosts travel experience

Amtrak is focused on helping consumers and travelers find their way around New York City's Penn Station more easily with a new "FindYourWay" app, according to a Newsday report.

The app provides mobile device users information on gates, trains, exits, platforms, ATMs and restaurants.

Amtrak describes it as "a real-time customer information beacon technology-enabled app," according to Newsday.

The free app, available on iOS and Android, works off Zyter, a connectivity platform which includes 400 beacons.
