Old Navy remodel moves away from budget-buying image

June 5, 2011

According to Tampa Bay Online, Old Navy is remodeling hundreds of its stores to reflect a brighter, cleaner, whiter design, highlighting outfits rather than stacks of clothing.

The store layout will focus around showcasing ensembles and offering outfit ideas, instead of separate warehouse-style areas for each type of clothing.

The design is meant to encourage more buying and move consumers away from the budget buying approach.
