AisleBuyer LLC has launched a new multichannel checkout solution available for iPhone and Android mobile devices. The new solution allows shoppers to use one application for checking out in-store or ordering goods for delivery.
With the new application, customers at AisleBuyer partners can scan merchandise barcodes, retrieve information and reviews on the product, and then skip the checkout line to make a purchase. Additionally, customers can then separate the purchase so that some products are taken out of the store while others are flagged for delivery, all through the same transaction.
"After eliminating checkout lines with mobile self-checkout, we realized that in-store transactions and e-commerce transactions shouldn't be two separate things,” Aislebuyer CEO Andrew Paradise said in the announcement.
“In a single transaction, customers can now order some products for home delivery while walking out of the store with others," he said.
Along with the ability to split purchases between in-store pick-up and home delivery, AisleBuyer updated its application to allow customers to create wish lists, save items to review later and browse a retailer's entire product catalog.
