Publix Super Markets has purchased a shopping center where one of its Boynton Beach locations is housed for $78 million, according to a Connect CRE report.

The acquisition is a familiar scenario as Public has bought numerous retail centers where its shopping markets are located as it provides the grocery brand control of the center, from tenant selection to physical improvements.

The retail center, located on Boynton Beach Boulevard, is called the Fountains of Boynton Shopping Center. It was sold by Boulder Group and Union Investment Real Estate, according to a report at The South Florida Business Journal.

The center is anchored by the 56,893-square-foot Publix. Fellow tenants include LA Fitness and Hand & Stone Massage.
