Furniture retailer Raymour & Flanigan has launched a website providing a "differentiated e-commerce experience," built on Episerver by Righpoint, a Genpact company.

The retailer, which operates 143 stores, said the site eliminates friction between physical and digital shopping channels, according to a press release.

"With the vast majority of consumers beginning their in-store shopping experience with online discovery, we have a clear understanding that our new website is the front door to our brand," Beth Lee-Browning, director of user experience at Raymour & Flanigan, said in the release. "It became critical that our website give our customers a 360 approach to interacting with our brand. Our goal continues to be to put our customer first and the new website gives them an extremely intuitive way to find merchandise, locate showrooms, learn about white glove delivery, schedule in-store appointments, purchase seamlessly and more — helping to propel us into the future as the leader in omnichannel furniture and mattress retail."

Rightpoint visited the retailer's stores to understand the company's business and diverse audience, according to the release.

"Companies like Raymour & Flanigan distinguish themselves with customers through unique experiences. We empower them to deliver those experiences digitally," said Josh Schoonmaker, senior director of strategy at Episerver. "Their dedication to the customer is inspiring — it truly showcases what can be done when you put the customer first in crafting digital experiences."
