Reebok opens FitHub concept store in UK

October 4, 2013

The sportswear brand Reebok has opened its first FitHub concept store in London, designed to encourage people "to move, to train, to get fit and have fun doing it."

According to an article on fashionunited.co.uk, store fixtures replicate a gym atmosphere, all the way down to the flooring and plyometric jump boxes used as seats — features the brand calls "creative" and "raw" to engage customers with fitness.

Apparel is clustered according to the workout, including classic, training, running and studio, with mannequins dressed and placed to reflect that sport. The store also features a team of fitness specialists ranging from fully qualified personal trainers, dance and ballet coaches to CrossFit and netball players. The specialists offer advice, guidance and information on living a healthy lifestyle, the article reported.

"We're extremely excited to have opened the first Reebok FitHub in the U.K.," James Woolard, Reebok U.K. brand director, said in the article. "The FitHub is great statement to prove Reebok's commitment to getting people active. It will give consumers a full fitness experience like no other, inspire people to get moving and become a desirable destination for the fitness community."
