Retailers experiment with new loyalty programs

Wall Street Journal: Rising food and oil prices combined with a downward spiraling economy have spurred consumers to spend less time shopping and more time managing their bank accounts. One way retailers are hoping to get customers back into their stores is by offering all sorts of new rewards programs and in-store bonuses to their most loyal customers.
