Saks Fifth Avenue launching store on Amazon Luxury

Saks Fifth Avenue will open a "store within a store" in the Amazon Luxury storefront to sell designer goods from Balmain and Dolce & Gabbana.

Sales via the third-party storefront will be managed by Saks Fifth Avenue, according to a Reuters report posted by the New York Post.

Amazon, which is an investor in Saks Fifth Avenue's parent company Saks Global, launched its Amazon Luxury storefront five years ago.

"We're really excited about this opportunity to be able to access a client who's shopping on Amazon, who is qualified for luxury," Saks Global President and Chief Commercial Officer Emily Essner told Reuters, adding the partnership will also provide Saks Global insight on customer engagement.
