Shopgate names Michael Haze as strategy, solutions vice president

Michael Haze has been named vice president of strategy and solutions for Shopgate, and is the company's first product development-focused leader in the U.S.

In this new executive role Haze will lead the company's focus on offering a mobile shopping app platform for Shopgate's enterprise retail clients and will work with clients to create best-in-class experiences for mobile shoppers.

Prior to joining Shopgate, Haze was the VP of commerce strategy and solutions at Kibo Commerce, where he led the solution engineering team and integrated suite solution strategy efforts, according to a press release.

"I'm thrilled to join the Shopgate team, and to build out a mobile shopping app platform that delivers remarkable experiences for enterprise merchants and their customers," Haze said in the release. "The company is heading in such an innovative and exciting direction, and I'm looking forward to working with the team to establish highly-focused strategies and solutions that will drive the best results for our customers."
