Signbox partners with Integrated Retail for retail digital signage in Singapore

Digital signage provider Signbox Microsystems today announced a mutual distribution agreement with Integrated Retail, a retail automation software service provider in the India and Asia Pacific regions. Integrated Retail's mission is to deliver value in the form of dynamic and scalable retail point-of-sale solutions to retailers at an affordable price, according to the announcement.

The partnership will see Integrated Retail add the Signbox suite of digital signage products to their product range, providing customers with sophisticated, robust, centrally managed digital signage software, the announcement said.

"Integrated Retail had been looking to enter into the digital signage market as they had customers interested in adding both front end and back end signage solutions to their POS system," said Stuart Lakin, director, Business Development, at Signbox. "They contacted Signbox and we have been able to provide them with a clear development plan, as well as the ability to customize our own proprietary digital signage software to meet individual customer needs. Integrated Retail have already conceptualized a number of innovative solutions on behalf of their customers, particularly based around the Signbox product SignEye, which uses a digital camera in conjunction with the latest in facial recognition technology, to identify audience metrics that occur in the field of vision. We are delighted to be working with such a well established, high-quality brand here in Singapore."

Integrated Retail is one of the largest retail IT implementation and management service providers with exclusive focus on the retail vertical in the region, Signbox said.
