The Signorelli Company recently joined with directors of the East Montgomery County Improvement District and its president and CEO, Frank McCrady, County Judge Craig Doyal, Commissioner Jim Clark, former Commissioner Ed Rinehart and other local officials to break ground for Valley Ranch Town Center, a new 240-acre retail district slated to open in early 2016, inside the 1,400-acre master-planned community of Valley Ranch.
"Valley Ranch Town Center is planned to include 1.8 million square feet of retail, encompassing everything from a Kroger Marketplace to a large Sam's Club, boutique stores, a wide variety of restaurants, banks, fitness facilities and an entertainment district," Danny Signorelli, president and CEO of The Signorelli Company, said in a statement. "In addition to New Caney ISD's 8,500-seat Texan Drive Stadium that opened in September, 2014, plans for the entertainment district include a multi-attraction cinema and a 10,000-seat amphitheater. The retail district will be bordered by a 135-acre park called The Grove, a natural gathering place that will provide greenspaces and trails for residents and visitors."
The Signorelli Company, in partnership with the EMCID, has made a commitment to donate up to $2.5 million in revenues to the East Montgomery County Scholarship Foundation, a non-profit subsidiary of the EMCID, which provides scholarships to local high school graduates and college students.
