Specialty retailers integrate channels, reap rewards

October 21, 2008

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — CORESense Inc., a leading developer of on-demand, multi-channel retail management software for small and medium-sized retailers, announced the addition of several new customers in the wine and spirits, sporting goods, automotive, fashion and leisure vertical markets.

Recent CORESense implementations include All Star Wine and Spirits, a premier wine shop in Upstate New York, PG Professional Golf, the world's largest recycled golf ball company, VYC Tires, the largest on-line used tire store in the US, Specialty Auto, a GM Licensee of specialty performance auto parts, and Leisure Warehouse, whose "1800pools" online store offers a comprehensive selection of pool and outdoor leisure products.

CORESense's On-demand Retail Management software provides multi-channel retailers an end-to-end system to manage their entire retail business from brick and mortar selling and ecommerce sales to back office operations. Founded in 2001, the company has experienced year after year of double digit growth as retailers adapt to the changing needs and desires of their customers by expanding into ecommerce, and other channels in addition to the traditional brick-and-mortar market.

"We chose CORESense because it was the only system that would sync all of our sales channels in one central database," said Dimitri Chernyak, CEO of VYC Tires' Bestusedtires.com. "Now we never oversell a product because our inventory is always up-to-the-minute — if a product is sold from one channel, it is automatically removed from the others. We also save a lot of time by only creating one product listing and choosing which channels we want to sell it in rather than creating new listings for each channel. We're so much more efficient now — it makes our customers happier, which is great for sales."
