Display & Design Ideas: For the first time in the United States, historic sportswear brand Gant is showcasing its entire lineup of products—to include individual concept shops for men's, women's and children's—under one roof. The Fifth Avenue store, the company's new global flagship, was gutted, renovated and expanded from a three-story, 5,200-sq.-ft. space to a four-floor, 6,600-sq.-ft. shopping mecca opened in September. The store showcases the iconic Gant brand's nearly 60 years of history, which dates back to 1949 when Bernard Gant, a Ukrainian native, and his wife first launched the private-label Gant shirt.
