Stage Stores Inc. announced it is expanding its cosmetics lineup with the launch of a new Beauty Bar, an assisted, self-select concept that is available in 100 locations nationwide. Seven all-natural, organic brands were added including Bremenn Labs, Burt’s Bees, Crabtree & Evelyn, Emani Minerals, Juice Organics, Kiss My Face and NP Set by Napoleon Perdis.
Stage Stores brings nationally-recognized brand name apparel, accessories, cosmetics, and footwear for the entire family to small and mid-size towns and communities. The Houston-based company operates 780 stores in 39 states.
"By capitalizing on the popular all natural, organic trend and a convenient concept, our goal is for the Beauty Bar to increase cosmetic sales during every [customer] visit. We've added a cross-section of well known and newer lines that are all a great fit for self-select purchasing," said Chris Johnston, senior vice president and general merchandise manager of cosmetics of Stage Stores.
To celebrate the launch of the Beauty Bar concept, Stage Stores hosted a launch party at its Palais Royal Cinco Ranch location. An appearance by celebrity makeup artist and businessman Napoleon Perdis highlighted the evening. The event included demonstrations and sampling by vendors from all seven lines and drew more than 100 shoppers.
