Tagsys introduces RFID item-tracking system

According to RFID-Ready.com, Tagsys, a provider of item-level RFID infrastructure, has announced the introduction of FiTS (Fashion Item Tracking System), a commercial end-to-end supply chain system for the fashion and apparel retail industries.
Using RFID technology, FiTS offers real-time visibility and automated, item-level inventory tracking throughout the supply chain process.
"Tagsys has listened to the fashion market for the past four years, and designed the FiTS system to improve the brand equity of our fashion customers," said Alain Fanet, Tagsys CEO. The FiTS system includes:
- Industry-standard RFID tags, labels, readers and software
- Dashboard features that allow customers to monitor supply chain processes and RFID performance
- A deployment model that lets customers buy or lease the FiTS system
- A performance guarantee and proactive maintenance via Tagsys’ Total Managed Services (TMS) offering
