Tailored store layout boosts sales at bedding retailer

The retail store Benson for Beds joined with John Evans Interior Architecture and Design to create a new concept store, focusing on layout and displays that boost turnover and sales, according to an article on Dexigner.com.

The team gave a strong focus to the interior of the store, in order for it to reflect the high quality beds and bedroom furniture the store offers. 

"Displaying a great value product in a high quality interior ensures it appears to be even better value to the customer," explained Evans. "Display is just one part. We addressed every aspect of the store from initial layout plans, highlighting the way customers walk around and view the store, to lighting and ceilings; every element is designed to ensure the customer feels at ease in store."

As a result of the design, Benson for Beds has seen an increase in turnover and plans to implement the design in other locations.
