Target locking up underwear ticks off shopper

A Target customer wasn't too happy to find that underwear he was thinking of buying was locked up in a glass security section.
The shopper jumped on TikTok to express his displeasure that boxer briefs weren't easily accessible, according to a New York Post report.
"Like, I'm just trying to get a pair of briefs or boxer briefs. Can't even do that these days without having someone press a button for you. Well, sign off," TikToker Mardom0 said in TikTok post created at a Target location.
The consumer reaction comes at a time when retailers are securing items due to increasing retail theft activity. Underwear was noted in a recent National Retail Federation report as one clothing item often targeted by thieves.
