Target opened a store last week in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The 129,000-square-foot store is in the Brookings Marketplace and will be the retailer's sixth location in the state, according to a SiouxFalls Business report.
"The opening of Target has me feeling like a kid at Christmas, and I'm sure I'm not alone," Mayor Oepke Niemeyer said in a statement. "I'm looking forward to celebrating with them."
The Brookings Marketplace was developed by Ryan Companies US Inc., a national commercial real estate solutions provider headquartered in Minneapolis.
The Target features a Starbucks cafe and CVS Pharmacy, with drive-up and order pickup services.
