Target is teaming up with commerce platform Shopify to offer a curated product line on Target Plus, Target's third-party online marketplace.

Shopify merchants in the U.S. can now apply through Marketplace Connect to be a part of Target Plus, and the retailer will carefully select those to join based on value and quality, according to a press release.

Target Plus, launched in 2019, offers direct-to-consumer and national brands consumers know including brands like Crocs, Maui Jim, Timberland and Ruggable.

"Target Plus invites consumers to explore a curated collection of products from vendors we trust, so they can shop our assortment with confidence," Cara Sylvester, executive vice president and chief guest experience officer, Target, said in the release.
