The Dog Stop, a dog care brand, opened 12 locations in the U.S. and introduced services including Happy Healthy Pup memberships and enhanced care options in 2024.

It also exceeded a franchise development goal of selling 40 territories.

The retailer, which debuted in 2009, plans to double store openings in 2025, according to a press release. Thirteen locations are set to open soon in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Florida, Oregon, California, Virginia and Illinois.

The retailer deployed a new POS, allowing it to streamline operations with a single platform that integrates six to eight essential business technologies, and providing customers online booking through the mobile app, website and social media.

"The consistent efforts of our team, systemized processes, strong unit economics, and superior service offerings have fueled our record-breaking success," Jesse Coslov, CEO and co-founder of The Dog Stop, said in the release. "Our commitment to meeting the needs of all dogs and their owners continues to set us apart in the industry."
