Ticket Liquidator, an online marketplace for live entertainment events, has integrated Google Wallet into its website as a payment option.
"We're among the first web properties to integrate Google Wallet," Stacey Bednarz, a Ticket Liquidator director, said in a statement. "The ability to purchase on a mobile device is becoming more and more important, and Google Wallet gives our customers a fast and secure purchasing option."
Ticket Liquidator and Google Wallet are promoting the integration by offering discounts. Customers who use mobile devices and Google Wallet to buy tickets from Ticket Liquidator’s mobile site get a discount of $25 on purchases of $100 or more.
However, Google Wallet cannot be used for all purchases, says a note on Ticket Liquidator’s website. Ticket Liquidator displays event tickets that are listed for sale by a variety of sellers. If these sellers cannot accept Google Wallet payments, or if the customer’s credit or debit card was issued outside the U.S., then Google Wallet cannot be used.
