Uber drone food delivery arriving in less than 3 years

Uber plans to have food delivery service via drones in play by 2021 and the program is in its "early days," according to news reports.

The program is called “UberExpress,” according to the New York Post, and was initially reported due to a job listing reported by the Wall Street Journal regarding a search for a leader for Uber's "Flight Standards and Training" program.

The Post stated Uber said the delivery strategy is in an "experimental" phase within the FAA Integration Pilot Program.
