A UK-based general merchandise retailer, Wilkinson, is opening a new store and format called Wilko in Crawley, West Sussex, according to diyweek.net.
Wilko, the two-story, 28,000-square-foot store categorizes products by groupings, such as "everyday family living," "functional home," "decorative home," "leisure time" and "event zone." It also has a greater focus on visual merchandising.
The biggest change, however, is the introduction of a more multichannel experience for customers, which includes an off-hours customer collection point, according to the story.
