UST integrates hand tracking to deliver faster checkout

UST, a digital transformation solutions company specializing in retail, has integrated Ultraleap hand tracking to provide touchless interaction for its end-to-end retail solution — UST Vision Checkout, according to a press release.

The self-checkout POS uses computer vision to identify SKUs, allowing users to purchase products using a fully touchless process including voice technology.

Nourish + Bloom Market, an African-American owned autonomous grocery store in Fayetteville, Georgia, is the first store to feature this self-checkout solution. Nourish + Bloom Market plans to deploy more than 500 stores in the U.S.
