Samantha Marie, of PaperCut Pottery, has launched a vending machine that dispenses her small hand-crafted pottery items in Richmond, California, according to a Richmond Standard report.
Each piece of pottery fits in a see-through, two-inch round plastic capsule. Customers pay Marie a fee and she gives them $.25 to operate the vending machine and dispense a single piece of pottery. The vending machines resemble ones that have previously been used to dispense toys, candy and other small items for children.
Marie will be featuring the vending machine at PaperCut Pottery's "Makers Market" on Sunday, May 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Four Fools Winery, 13 Pacific Ave. in Rodeo. She and 35 guest artisans will be featured at the event.
