Reuters reports that Bank of America and Visa have entered a partnership to begin testing a plan that will allow shoppers to make payments with their smart phones.
The trial will take place in New York, and will run from September until the end of the year.
The announcement comes on the heels of a similar plan recently hatched by AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and Discover Financial Services.
