Walmart BYOD helping associates work smarter

Walmart is deploying a mobile device associate initiative aimed at helping team members work smarter using their own smartphones.

The effort, according to a blog post, is aimed at making it easier to use the retailer's custom apps that were initially accessible on store devices.

Associates now have the option to access the apps via their personal devices without compromising personal information or privacy, according to the blog.
