Walmart gets its own special retail experience center

The showroom and simulated store operations center is focused on helping the world's top retailer drive new ideas and strategies in omnichannel efforts and customer experience.

The world’s top retailer now boasts its own Retail Experience Center with a state-of-the-art center in Arkansas complete with a showroom and simulated Walmart store to drive new brand ideas and insights.

The center, from Tyco Retail Solutions, will provide Walmart business leaders to engage with Tyco’s subject-matter experts to explore technology that drives informed decision-making for store operations, including strategies such as omnichannel retailing and the customer experience.

"Connecting with our retail customers is fundamental to ensuring we are solving their problems and helping grow their business," said Nancy Chisholm, president, Tyco Retail Solutions, in an announcement. "Our new center gives the Walmart team a unique opportunity to experience our innovative solutions in a personalized, high-impact, interactive environment. This one-to-one engagement helps drive breakthrough technology tailored to the needs of our customers."

The performance solutions showcased include: traffic and inventory intelligence, EAS, source tagging, video surveillance, fire suppression, fire detection, and intrusion detection.
