Walmart.com debuts online home décor brand

There's a new brand at Walmart.com and it's aimed at the home décor and accessory shopper.

The MoDRN line offers "high-quality, on trend" collections, according to a blog post by Anthony Soohoo, senior vice president and group general manager, Walmart U.S. eCommerce.

"Over the past year, we've seen a nearly 35 percent increase in visits to our home destination, with the majority of customers spending more time on the site, browsing and discovering products they love. While last year was all about creating this specialty shopping experience, this year, we're focused on doubling down on growing our assortment," he wrote.

There are three collections within MoDRN, retro glam, refined industrial and Scandinavian minimal, offering 650 items for every room in the house.

"We also have other exclusive collections in the works that I can't wait to reveal in the coming months," wrote Soohoo.
