Walmart's Jetblack personal shopping offering, launched last year in New York, is grabbing so much love from consumers, there's a waiting list.
The service, which costs $50 a month, is catching the attention of the affluent shopper, according to a Fox Business report which cited Walmart eCommerce U.S. CEO Marc Lore as claiming customers "absolutely love" it and that the service brings "conversational commerce to life."
More than two-thirds of members spend about $1,500 a month, according to Lore. Jetblack lets members text shopping requests 24x7 and it doesn't have to be a Walmart sourced product. The service does not deliver perishables, pharma items, big furniture or alcohol, according to the report.
