With 2010 RCEES in the books, plans are announced for next year's event

August 4, 2010

The inaugural Retail Customer Experience Executive Summit took place at the Westin Chicago N.W. on August 1-3, and by all accounts, it was a success.

Executives from nearly three dozen retailers — including Target, Apple, AT&T, REI and many more — gathered to brainstorm, exchange ideas and make new friends at the invitation-only event, organized and hosted by Retail Customer Experience. NEC was the event's platinum sponsor.

"A wonderful part about my job is that I get to meet such a diverse and talented group of people who care deeply about how they provide value for their customers," said Bobby Renaud, vice president of events for RCE publisher NetWorld Alliance. "I spoke to each retailer at this event and heard nothing but positive feedback. The retail tour and shop-a-long, the keynotes and panelists, and the fun-filled opportunities to network and collaborate provided a real 'party with a purpose.' I’m proud to be part of such a valuable event."

Work has begun immediately on the 2011 summit, which will take place August 8-10 at the Graves 601 in Minneapolis. Anyone interested in attending, speaking at or sponsoring the event should contact Bobby Renaud at bobbyr@networldalliance.com.
