World's top toymaker enjoying robust gains in first half of 2015.

September 2, 2015

The world’s top toymaker is only getting bigger and stronger with a 23-percent spike in sales for the first six months of the year.

The increase, partly due to gains in Asia and consumer embracement of dinosaur, ninja and elves toys, reflects a positive trend with foreign exchange as well, according to a Fortune report.

Net profit was even more robust, at 31 percent, reflecting a boost of $536 million.Fortune noted that movie merchandise from the flick "Jurassic World" as well as last year’s LEGO movie played a big part.

In its financials the company said plans for a new China manufacturing plant are on track for an opening in 2017.
