Amazon partners with Best Buy on Amazon Fire TV strategy

Amazon is partnering with Best Buy in an exclusive agreement to sell its Amazon Fire smart televisions sold via Best Buy's Insignia brand and Toshiba.

The strategy, which will kick off this summer, is to expand Amazon’s Fire TV brand within the brick-and-mortar landscape, according to a USA Today report. It's also a way for Amazon to extend consumer access to its voice assistant Alexa as the sets will include a voice-activated remote and connect to Echo devices in the consumer's home.
