British retailer kicks off check-out free shopping

British multinational grocer, Tesco, working with computer vision startup, Trigo, is now offering customers check-out free shopping using its new Tesco app.

The collaboration, according to a press release, includes an equity investment by Tesco in Trigo.

Using the app, Tesco customers shop and leave without having to go through a check-out line. It is being live-tested with a preliminary rollout in more stores to follow, according to the release.
