Crystal Display Systems debuts range of touch monitors

Crystal Display Systems Ltd. has launched a range of glass-to-glass monitors and touch monitors. Customers can purchase touch monitors with their choice of touch technology including PCAP, resistive, capacitive, sound acoustic wave and infrared, according to a press release.

The displays come in single, dual or multi-touch models, each with vandal resistant options. Crystal Display Systems designs the multi-touch sensors with a 1.2-millimeter substrate and a 6-millimeter cover glass to withstand impact, according to the release. Other features include:

• Ability to detect gloved hands through glass thickness of 10-millimeters.
• Resistant to raindrops, leaves, dirt and ice.
• Ability to include company names and logos on displays.
