CVS is revamping beauty and skin care areas in stores in a quest to grab the attention of the health-focused and trend-focused consumer and the strategy includes thousands of new products, a new brand line and specific store product areas.
There are more prominent sections for new products and a Beauty on the Go area near a checkout line, according to a Glossy report.
"This category ties in with the way millennials shop, which is experience-led," Katie Smith, a retail analyst at Edited, told Glossy. "Retailers like Sephora have really set the bar with their store layout, testability of their products and rewards scheme."
