ECRS unveils entry-level self-checkout unit

Retail automation provider ECR Software Corp. (ECRS) has unveiled its small-footprint self-checkout solution at the 2010 National Grocers Association Synergy Showcase. According to a news release, the QUICKcheck kiosk is the smallest self-checkout unit on the market today with automatic weight security.

The QC kiosk features complete weight security, user-friendly infrared touchscreen, ATM-cash back, ultra capacity receipt printer with receipt pull-back and auto dispose, and integrated signature capture. Stores also have the option to choose from a wide selection of available colors and customizable designs, allowing the unit to fit the look and feel of unique retail spaces.
