Handbag retailer launches 8th U.S. store

Luxury handbag seller Rebag is opening its fourth New York store, and its eighth in the country, in Garden City, Long Island.

The store, at the Roosevelt Field mall, is located on the upper level near the Neiman Marcus wing, according to a press release and is similar to its other physical locations. It will feature its popular Rebag Bar and Hermes Birkin Wall.

"I am particularly excited for Rebag to open in Roosevelt Field as we continue to extend our physical presence outside of the immediate New York City area. We always consider our customers when we plan our retail expansions, and are looking forward to making Rebag accessible to the Long Island community," said Charles Gorra, CEO and founder of Rebag, in the release. "We're especially thrilled to be part of the largest and most esteemed mall in New York."

Customers can shop the entire online and in-store collections, sell a bag within 60 minutes, or exchange a previous purchase for at least 70% of the original price via Rebag Infinity, according to the release.

Rebag plans to increase its physical store footprint to 30 in near future.
