Ikea opening LA store, expanding Southern California footprint

The Culver City location expands the retailer's Southern California footprint to 10 locations, according to a Connect CRE report.

The 38,050-square-foot IKEA Culver City will be located in the Helms Design District. The home furnishings retailer announced the Westside LA opening as part of its 2025 Annual Summary.

"We are excited to bring the IKEA experience even closer to the many Angelenos, in a city where the brand is deeply loved and where interest in home furnishing is especially strong," Gustavo Tinajero, IKEA Southern California metro area manager, said in the company's 2025 Annual Summary report.
