Mall of America debuts Ellie the Elf concierge service for holiday shoppers

Those hitting the Mall of America in Minnesota for holiday shopping now have a new helper — Ellie the Elf.
Ellie is a shopping concierge hologram created by Vntana, according to a press release, that lets shopper
s ask Ellie for gift advice and inspiration. It offers recommendations as well.
The technology is highly interactive and visual and promises to make the stress of buying the perfect gift easier, according to the release.
