Nearly half of U.S. female shoppers, 45 percent, will only step into a retail store if there's a sale of 41 percent or more being offered.
That's the finding of new research revealed at the recent WWD Men's Wear Summit, according to a New York Daily News report.
The First Insight research also reveals 39 percent of shoppers are willing to hit another retailer in the quest for a cheaper product price. The research focused on retail discount strategies and polled 1,303 U.S. consumers in late 2016.
